Dr Maggie Ju's background​​

She practiced acupuncture in Harley Street for many years after finished post doctoral training in St George's hospital.

Dr Maggie Ju became a qualified medical doctor in Western medicine in China and was well trained in Western medicine together with Chinese medicine in the best Medical University in Beijing, China, where she was influenced by many famous professors such as Ji-sheng Han, professor and top neuroscientist, and Jingyan Han, professor in microcirculation. Her acupuncture skills were adopted from Dr Zheren Xuan--famous orthopedics expert and founder of soft tissue surgery and Zhenyun Bo-- professor and founder of pain-free abdominal acupuncture in China. She has established standard facial rejuvenation acupuncture based on facial anatomy. She is the first person to bring and apply dosage concept to acupuncture treatment. 

 

Furthermore she had excellent training in dermatology, oral and maxilofacial surgery, fertility and had research experiences in uterine smooth muscles, blood vessels and epithelium in China and the UK.

She obtained a PhD degree in Physiology in the University of Leeds in the UK. 
She had post doctoral training and worked as a senior researcher in St George's hospital, London, UK.

Over the years of practicing, she developed unique effective acupuncture treatment approaches for facial rejuvenation and acne treatment; fertility and miscarriages; pain relief, stress and anxiety release and fatigue.

She had frequently presented research findings in the top international conferences in the field.
