Acupuncture for fertility and miscarriages

Acupuncture can help you get pregnant and help recover from miscarriage and get your body ready for next pregnancy. Acupuncture stimulates nerve endings to help restore hormone balance; improve ovarian and uterine blood flow; reduce inflammation and reduce stress and releases emotion. All of these could help you to get pregnant and prevent miscarriage from happening again and have a successful pregnancy.

Facial acupuncture

Sun light makes one feel good and sun tan makes one look good. However exposure to the sun causes most of wrinkles and age spots on the face and skin color obtained from being in the sun speeds up skin aging.  Sun exposure damages collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. When these fibers break down, the skin begins to sag, stretch, and lose its ability to go back into place after stretching.

Is there any way to make up to the damage caused by sun exposure? Facial acupuncture is an efficient way to do so. Does it work? Acupuncture on the face stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis and improves blood circulation to help skin repairing. As a result, skin becomes delicate and free of wrinkles again.

A tension headache is the most common type of primary headache accounting for about 90% of all headaches. It tends to start from the back of the head and moves forward to the top of the head. It is often linked to sensitivity to pain, stress and tension. It can be triggered by stress, anxiety, fatigue; and/or holding your head at one position for a long time, such as working on computer all day. The pain is bilateral and the head is like being squeezed or stabbed and the eyes are strained; The pain could be dull and feels like a band surrounding your head. Pain may involve the back part of the head or neck.

Migraine is featured as moderate or severe pulsating pain only on one side of the head which is deliberated by physical activity. It is recurring headache with duration 4-72 hours. It could accompany other symptoms including nausea, vomiting and increased sensitivity to light or noise.

Acupuncture treatment for vulvodynia is also supported by research which shows that acupuncture reduces pain of vulvodynia. For example, a recent study assessed acupuncture's augmentation of lidocaine therapy in the treatment of provoked localized vulvodynia (PLV). In this study, 14 women with moderate to severe PLV were offered 18 sessions of acupuncture for 12 weeks. Participants reported pain reduction for 12 weeks.

Itchiness is as bad as pain which can compromise your quality of life.

Eczema is a very common skin condition due to skin inflammation. Atopic eczema is the most common form and is included in a group of allergic conditions like asthma, hay fever and food allergy. They are all linked by an increased activity of the allergy side of the body’s immune system. Acupuncture is effective for atopic eczema. For example, a recent study involving in thirty participants with eczema. They were received four weeks of acupuncture treatments. All eczema symptoms were improved in 4 weeks’ time.
