Arteries: Carry oxygen-rich blood away from the heart to the tissues. The largest artery, the aorta, branches into smaller arteries and arterioles.

Veins: Return deoxygenated blood back to the heart. The largest veins, the superior and inferior vena cava, collect blood from the body and channel it into the right atrium.

Capillaries: Tiny vessels that form a network between arteries and veins. Capillaries are sites of nutrient and gas exchange with tissues.

Red Blood Cells (RBCs): Carry oxygen from the lungs to the body and carbon dioxide from the body back to the lungs.
